This
community sits about 7 miles east of Truckee. It is
only a 25 minute commute to Reno and its many conveniences.
The area is located in the “banana belt”
which means it normally receives the least amount of
snow in the Truckee area. Glenshire is populated primarily
with full time residents. It has a homeowners association
with amenities that include a swimming pool, clubhouse,
tennis courts, and a convenience store. One of Truckee’s
fine elementary schools and a seasonal fire department
are also located here. Home prices range from about
$400,000 to $750,000. Lots can be found between about
$100,000 to $200,000.
