About
Luca
Love of the mountains has been with me since I can remember.
Some of us may be drawn to the ocean, to a city, or
simply to a lifestyle. I am continually lured back to
the mountains. As an avid traveler, I am enticed by
new destinations but I always long for clean mountain
air, for the thrill of being on a peak, and for the
changing seasons; this is where I am at home. That home
is Squaw Valley, for me, my wife Alisa, and our dogs
Jesse James, Neve, and Gravy. We have chosen this region
for obvious reasons. The Lake Tahoe area allows us to
balance work and play and to be at peace with our environment
and ourselves.
I grew up in the Bay Area, in the heart of Silicon Valley,
and attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.
A football athletic scholarship sent me to the University
of Nevada-Reno for a year before I took an opportunity
to transfer to Santa Clara University to play soccer
with the National Championship Team. Deciding that I
needed to take a break from school I moved to the mountains
of Colorado where I resided in Boulder and Telluride,
and then moved to Durango where I finished college with
a B.A. in Exercise Science. Within a month of graduation
I obtained my Italian citizenship, got an Italian passport
and moved to Italy. I traveled Europe and skied the
Alps for an unforgettable year. Almost penniless but
wealthy on culture, experience, food, and language,
I returned to California and gave Mammoth Lakes a try.
El Nino and Mother Nature made Mammoth a recreation
wonderland but I continued to move on. Everywhere I
went, friends and fellow travelers had said Tahoe was
an amazing place so I thought maybe I should give it
a try. Like many others before me, I came for the winter
and stayed because of the summers. I came to Squaw Valley
in 1998 and feel very fortunate to call this wonderful
area home.
My goal:
In the competitive sports arena I learned how to create
a game plan, communicate, and do what it takes to accomplish
a goal. I am very driven and determined to achieve the
goal at hand. Through years of practice and persistence,
I learned how to be the best at what I do. I believe
this is directly translated into the real estate field.
I strive to create a “win-win” situation
for my clients. I am here to educate, advise, listen
and then communicate a “game plan” that
can be executed so that your goal is reached. One of
the tools I use to help realize these objectives is
the Internet and my technical proficiency allows me
to pass this expertise on to you. I can help you to
make educated decisions regarding our market right from
your home computer. Many of our tech savvy clients do
most of their research from home and know exactly what
they want prior to even arriving in our area. Many others
value communicating by mail or fax and I am always available
to my clients by phone. |
